With the acceleration of its international development in the 19th century, Maison Martell shipped its products from Cognac to the world – including China, which received its first Martell cognacs in 1858. The close ties between Maison Martell and China have lasted to this day.

Blue Plate :
The Cordon Bleu ribbon on the design takes us from the vineyards to the founder’s house, where Martell cognac was crafted in 1715.
The ribbon then guides us to the Château de Chanteloup, and on to the historic Gâtebourse building, from which iconic bottles of Martell Cordon Bleu emerge.
Maison Martell’s remarkable 300-year history and values represent a solid foundation on which it can constantly build and innovate as it moves forward into the future. More than ever, this rich heritage is an endless source of inspiration for every creation, every initiative. While every Martell cognac has its own story, all share the memory and ethos of the House.
